Just finished the entire Animorphs series twelve...
Good thing I didn’t actually read that last book when I was eleven or twelve.
Biggest complaint: not the roller coaster of a plot… not the character deaths… THE PROSE ITSELF. Way to lose distinct narrative voices and any sense of tension in the last 20 books, K.A. and ghostwriters. I’m sorry, but the final arc was a chore to read. At last.
Number 46 finally arrived in the mail. #50 and #51 are in near-perfect condition despite the seller describing them as “acceptable” and making me nervous. The hideous condensed UK edition of #47 + #48 was cheaper than the shiny US ones, so I dealt with it.
I can now begin and careen headlong to the conclusion… something I should not have interrupted sixteen years ago.
TIME...
Today was the third time I’ve been told to work SLOWER at my second job by a coworker or supervisor.
